Meet the Doctor
Dr. Rachel Selnick
Dr. Rachel grew up in Southern California. She always knew she wanted to help people, but didn't know what form of healthcare she wanted to pursue. As she was going to school for her BA in psychology she took an Anthropological alternative healing methods class that opened her mind up to all the amazing fields within natural health care. She later worked as a Chiropractic Assistant to learn more about the profession & within 3 short weeks of seeing miracles and learning about the powerful healing potential of the human body she knew she had found her life's purpose.
One of the miracles Dr. Rachel witnessed was one of her own. She suffered from migraines & since her mother & her mother's mother also suffered from migraines she assumed it was hereditary. After starting to get adjusted by the chiropractors she worked for they explained to her that migraines aren't normal & that they were being caused by a misalignment of the top two vertebrae in her spine. Within 3 short months of consistent chiropractic care her migraines were gone & have yet to come back.
This grew her passion for Chiropractic & inspired her to go to school so that she could offer these types of miracles to her community. She attended Life Chiropractic College West & graduated in 2018. During her time in school she obtained extensive training in Pediatric & Prenatal care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is Webster Certified for prenatal care. Although Dr. Rachel's specialty is in Pediatric & Prenatal care, she is very passionate about helping everyone from minutes old to 120! Her gentle adjusting techniques give her the ability to work with all ages in a way that honors the body while correcting its misalignments.
